Many of us are forced to use our detectors in inclement weather, in other words - in the rain. I have done plenty of that on my tours to England. I was never one for wrapping my unit in a plastic bag - it just doesn't look professional. I suppose it is OK in a pinch, but a properly fitted water resistant case is the ideal thing to use. . .we had to have clear plastic sections to observe controls .
